Goodhue Looking to Remain Undefeated.

On Thursday night the Goodhue wrestling team plans on heading to Cannon Falls to wrestle their sixth match of the season. Going into the contest goodhue is 5-0 with 5 wrestlers that remain unbeaten. These 5 include Caleb Diercks, Micah Huneke, Lucas Albers, Eric Ryan, and Luke O'Reily. The wildcats have already seen the bombers once this season when Cannon Falls came to Goodhue for their annual quad. This year the wildcats rolled past all three of their opponents, Cannon Falls being one of them. The match appeard to be close going into the 152 pound match where Goodhue then deceided to take over receiving pins from all but the 160 pound match where they won by decision. Going into Thursdays match things will be much different this time around. To start Goodhue gets an extra boost in the line-up with Chad Meyer coming back for his first match off of a shoulder injury due to a late football season. Also the bombers will be humbled with the return of number 8 ranked 119 pounder Jared Erlandson and also the return of their Heavy weight. Though the lineups may be different the wildcats are still hopeing to remain undefeated going into christmas break. When asked what he thought about his first 07-08 season match Chad Meyer responded with "Well you see, I don't really know, I hope i get an easy match to start with so i don't reinjure my shoulder." With this being said i hope things all go the right way for the wildcats on Thursday night to help them remain unbeaten.
